THE VISION

The Vision is going to be key in these last days.
It is a place where the sound of the Spirit is released…
a place of signs, wonders and healing…
a place of intentional outreach, discipleship and training…
a place of refuge being established right now – the epicenter of Father’s love and His supernatural power that will change and influence individuals, regions and nations of the world.

“Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring – …he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” Romans 4:16a, 20 & 21

New PITFH Team Member

We are extremely pleased to announce to you that we have added Laura Hokanson to our ministry team as our new CPA.  Laura lives locally  here in Vallecito Valley and just 1.5 miles from the ranch!  Professionally she is very experienced and specializes in non-profit ministries. Personally she has been prayer walking Vallecito Valley since 2009 and immediately caught the vision for Wit’s End Ranch as a healing and training center.  We know that Father has given us a wonderful, special gift in Laura…a suddenly who just flew into our lives, and a true friend who is working to bring the Kingdom to earth just as it is in Heaven.

In Loving Memory of J. Kirk Day

Wayne and Barbara Day are true friends of ours and of Places In The Father’s Heart.  Wayne and “B” were some of the very first who recognized the call of God upon our lives and acted to help us get the ministry organized and our non-profit status secured. Wayne served as ministry Vice President for 20 years.  They have remained faithful partners with us since 1982 and we likely would not be where we are today without them in our lives.

On Wednesday, October 11th, we received a phone call from “B” that their youngest son, Kirk, had suffered a major heart attack and passed into Glory.  He was 46 years old.  Kirk was a 1993 graduate from West Point and served as a Captain nine years in the U. S. Army.  Upon leaving […]

From Roger’s Journal 3/22/16 – Reprinted 10/14/17

Galatians 6:7 – “Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”
This promise is coming upon the world as we speak! In fact, this promise is at work daily in our lives. Retribution for the slaughter of multimillions of unborn babies is being played out by the slaughter of civilians by terrorists worldwide. The terrorists strike at the heart of civilization. The terror of war is no longer ‘over there out of reach’. It is now here in our midst. No matter who you are or where you are we as a people cannot escape the consequence of our sin.
The promise in Galatians is neutral. We decide what we will reap by what we sow whether good or bad. When we decide to go against God there can only be one outcome! Unless we repent, turn from […]

NEWS ABOUT THE RANCH VISION WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR

 WIT’S END RANCH
A PLACE IN FATHER’S HEART

The vision for Wit’s End Ranch was given by Father on February 10, 1980 – 37 years and 8 months ago.  For those of you who have walked these years with us, you know how long Father has assured us that Hab. 2:2-4 would come to pass…”though the vision tarry, wait for it because it will surely come and it will not tarry.”  We have waited and we have tarried…sometimes successfully and sometimes not so much!
We felt two weeks ago that something shifted in the Spirit realm and though we could not see specifics at that time, still in our spirits we knew something was happening…something was moving.  This week things have moved and swiftly.  Several ‘suddenlies’ have occurred and last evening was one of those suddenlies.  About 8pm we had a […]

A Deeper Level of Worship by R. T. Kendall

Did you know there is a much deeper level of worship than what we can do? Admittedly, in response to the Holy Spirit our actions of praying, praising, listening, loving and obeying are part of worship. And there is nothing wrong with that. But there is a much deeper level of worship, one in which we are unable to express ourselves verbally or non-verbally—where we are utterly passive. The highest and most intensive worship takes place when we can do nothing but be amazed, when we are rendered helpless and speechless with wonder and gratitude, when we just sit back and watch God work. […]

The Paradigm ~ by Jonathan Cahn

Rarely are we impacted by another author like we are by Jonathan Cahn.  This is by far his best work.  We highly recommend it to all those who have set their hearts to be a part of Father’s end time army.  He has masterfully brought together what is happening today with what happened in ancient times allowing us to get a glimpse of a God that has existed throughout the ages.  We highly recommend to you

• Is it possible that there exists a master blueprint that lies behind the events of the modern world?
• Is it possible that this blueprint originated in ancient times and yet reveals the events of the twenty-first century?
• Could this blueprint foretell the rise and fall of modern leaders and governments?
• Could events that […]

A Prodigal Comes Home

How Holy Spirit Brought Karen Wheaton’s Prodigal Daughter Back Home
By Larry Sparks for Charisma Magazine

This is one of the most powerful miracle testimonies I’ve ever followed. It’s especially powerful to me because I know many of the key parties involved—namely, Karen Wheaton, the mother of the author, Lindsey Wheaton-Doss.

I share this on my blog because I believe Lindsey’s story carries an impartation for hope and supernatural breakthrough. Read her words carefully. I encourage you to pick up her new book, The Way Home.  I believe there’s a powerful anointing on her story. She doesn’t try to clean things up, sanitizing the testimony. It’s real, raw and highly relatable to any reader who: 1) is praying for a family member, spouse or child to come back to the Lord or 2) who is currently in the […]

You Were Created to Stalk the Darkness ~ Kris Vallotton

There is a lie so demonically destructive that it has literally rewritten the history of the world, and yet this lie is so entrenched in Christian thinking that it’s rarely questioned. In fact, most believers have heard the lie so many times that they actually assume it’s a verse in the Bible. It kind of reminds me of one of my mother’s famous sayings, “God helps those who help themselves.” She repeated it so often that I was shocked when I started following Jesus, read the entire Bible and couldn’t find that verse anywhere. In fact I found the Bible to be quite the opposite of my mother’s mistaken understanding. I discovered that God helps those who can’t help themselves, won’t help themselves and who don’t know how to help themselves!

Unconscious Falsities and the Big Lie

Yet the lie I […]

How to Get Rid of A Performance Mentality – by Kris Valloton

Do you feel stretched beyond measure and constantly tired? Do you feel like no matter what you do, you just can’t seem to measure up? I believe that performance is a struggle that every generation has had to work through. Why? Because performance is the opposite of a solid identity. It’s built on a religious mindset and man’s attempt to please God through self-effort and striving. Not only that, but it’s a religion of shame, offering no rest for the weary. It demands that we work harder, accomplish more, and perform better to achieve a sense of well-being and worthiness.

I think that every new season and challenge presents us with a question: Will we respond as sons and daughters who trust our heavenly father to take care of us? Or will we take back control and partner with performance? […]

A Love Letter From My King ~ Sheri Rose Shepherd with a note from Gerri

[A note from Gerri:  As the song says, “Into every life some rain must fall, but it won’t rain always.”  Recently I was going through a difficult time.  It seemed that so many things were closing in around me.  Ever felt like that?  Of course you have!  During that time I received an unexpected surprise box with lots and lots of goodies in it from a new friend.  I knew when I opened the box that she had prayed about what to send me.  Every single thing had ‘Love, From Father’ all over it.  One of the very special things she sent was a small devotional book by Sheri Rose Shepherd titled His Princess – Love Letters From Your King.  On an especially difficult day, I picked it up and it opened to the following letter.  I knew that […]

Do You Need a Covering? by Wayne Jacobsen

This is a new chapter from the book Wayne is writing on The Phenomenon of the Drones.

Perhaps no teaching has been used more to subjugate the will of one human to another than that of spiritual covering. Under the guise of spiritual authority, people are actually instructed to obey a religious leader even at the cost of not following Jesus himself.
I don’t hear much talk of it stateside any more, though I know it’s here, but it came up often in my recent trip through South Africa. Spiritual covering is the idea that as a believer you need something or someone above you to protect you from deception and error. Some traditions teach that your local pastor or congregation is your covering. As long as you follow their teachings and submit critical decisions to them, they will keep you from slipping […]

Soaking With Father – What Is It All About? by Gerri

“When I am striving, it’s difficult to find love,  but when I am at rest, love finds me!”  Jack Frost

Soaking goes beyond active participation to one of just receiving from Him.  Father instructs us in His Word to “Be still and know that I am God.” Ps 46:10.  When we are at rest and peace in His presence, we can feel like we are taking a warm soothing bath “soaking” in His Love or being wrapped in a warm silky blanket of love.  We rest from all striving to deserve His acceptance and pleasure and open our heart to commune with Father and be filled with His love.  We seek a place of comfort and receive from the Holy Spirit.  As we soak, Father moves in and soothes the troubles, confusion, and pain in our heart and replaces it with […]

From Roger’s Journal – 6/27/17

The earth trembles, it quakes and shakes under the burden of sin that has accumulated. The breaking point is near. Individuals, families, organizations and governments will pay the unnecessary price for failure to accept My offer of salvation. Those who fight against Me, those who ignore Me, those who deny Me will regret their choices.   Those who have found Me, those who continue to seek Me, those who promote Me, will eternally rejoice for their righteous choices and reap the rewards of being a child of the Most High God. Let Me be ultimately and completely clear, I cannot and will not tolerate willful sin. The consequence of such a lifestyle is self-destruction. The choices between light and darkness are plainly clear to anyone caring to see. Are you seeking Truth? Jesus is the Truth. Seek and find Him […]

“Tears that Fill the Bowl – How God Uses Our Tears” ~ by Jerry and Denise Basel

One evening Denise and I were sitting at the table after dinner and she was sharing a story with me—a story that was quite painful. As she shared she began to cry. After a few minutes she looked down and saw that one of her tears had fallen on the table and she remarked, “There’s another tear that needs to go into the Lord’s bottle.” She then commented, “I hope that the ‘bottle of tears’ gets tipped when it’s full just as the ‘bowl of prayers’ do.” I then responded with, “I’m not sure that you can tell the difference between the two.” Sometimes when you share something, you have a sense that what you’ve said has more behind it then just your own thoughts or ideas. This was one of those times. As I shared that last statement, […]

How to be Brave – Kris Vallotton

Anytime I picture what courage looks like I think of soldiers, public servants and superheroes. But one thing I know for sure is that courage isn’t contained to a profession or a personality type. Courage comes from knowing that the God of the universe is for us and in us! Whether you’re a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, a photographer or a businessman, you are one of God’s champions! And as his winners, we weren’t called to sit around the palace sipping suds and polishing our armor. We have been left behind to transform the world.
Today I want to encourage you with a thought for the week—what would your week look like if you faced every circumstance that comes your way with outrageous courage? Check out this video to hear an inspiring testimony about bravery:

Hearing God’s Voice – Graham Cooke

How many times have you heard these or perhaps thought them yourself? “God’s not answering my prayers”, or “Apparently, God just doesn’t want to speak to me right now.” I think more often than not, these moments of “silence” are more about our listening than about his communication patterns. God is always speaking in one way or another. The question is: are you quiet enough to hear Him? Too often, we’re simply not paying enough attention. Or perhaps we love to hear the sound of our own voices. And even if we don’t, there are plenty of louder people all around us, each with their own viewpoints on a subject and their own egos demanding to be heard. The world is a loud and belligerent place, lacking the subtlety of the Kingdom, but our identities are in the Kingdom and […]

Abundance in the Kingdom ~ by Roger and Gerri

Recently we heard a powerful message from Bill Johnson on Kingdom Abundance.  We’d like to share with you what we took away from that message and applied to ourselves and to PITFH.
There were four main points. They are:
1)  Generosity
2)  Contentment
3)  Excellence in stewardship
4)  Expectation of increase

We’ll take each point one by one and share our thoughts and experiences.
GENEROSITY – How generous are we?  The more Kingdom centered we are, the less self-centered we will be!  Becoming selfless allows Holy Spirit to direct us and give us creative ways to be generous.  For example, when you enter a restaurant, do you check in with Father and ask Him to show you if there is someone you need to buy a meal for?  Do you use creative ways to get that done without letting the person receiving your gift know it […]

God Wants You Wealthy – Kris Vallotton

Do you know that God wants you to be wealthy? It may be contrary to what we’re usually taught in the church, but I believe that wealth is a sign of God’s blessing in your life, and it’s how we are made to live as children of the living King! Think about it, if your Dad rules the world, then you are royalty on this earth and have access to everything He has access to. I want to make sure you’re understanding that I’m not talking about being rich. Although fruit of a wealth mindset is living in abundance, wealth is much bigger than simply having a lot of money. Wealth is believing in the fullness of God’s ability and desire to provide in your life. It’s the means—resources, strength and wisdom—to create positive outcomes […]

Correction: The Miracle We Aren’t Looking For! by Roger Taylor

When we think about the word correction, what thoughts, what emotions come up? Are they positive or negative? For many of us this word represents negative past experience. Therefore, it should be avoided if at all possible. The range and power of individual response can be huge and sometimes difficult to overcome without help and healing. In our flesh we want to push the issues away and avoidance seems to be a pathway of least resistance and a quick escape from the pressure of potential confrontation. This is flesh and if we continue to use avoidance, escape and denial we remain in bondage in our flesh and hinder our future and our potential in God. On the other hand everything about God is miraculous! If we are born again we are His child and we belong with Him in […]

If God Wants Me to Enjoy My Life and Be Happy, Why Can’t I Sleep Around? ~ by Jessilyn Justice – Charisma News

[Note from Roger and Gerri:  Over the years in  prayer ministry sessions we  often hear the statement, “I don’t understand why I can’t sleep around or have sexual relationship with my significant other.  All my friends are doing it.”    More often than not in today’s culture we are overruled and clients leave prayer ministry to go on and do their own thing.  It brings great sadness to us because we see by experience the consequences and results of many of their choices and how they will affect them for a lifetime.  Father has clearly stated in His word that sexual sin (fornication, adultery, pornography, bestiality, etc.)  is a sin or curse against your own body resulting in physical illnesses of all kinds and  lifelong negative consequences to the soul (the mind, intellect and emotions).  I Corinthians 6:9-20   The best choice is if you haven’t, don’t.   If you have, […]

DANGEROUS EMPATHY ~ Al Ells

Are you empathetic to other people’s concerns and pain? Should you be?

I recently was reflecting on this issue and my own behavior. As you can imagine, empathy is valued by Counselors and the people they help. It is necessary for me to empathize with my clients. I must understand the client’s thoughts and connect with their feelings in order to best serve them. Empathy has also become a new buzz word in leadership circles. The assumption is if you can truly understand others you can better lead them. Leadership guru and Sociologist Brene Brown, references the following four attributes of empathy:

1) To be able to see the world as others see it – putting your own “stuff” aside to see the situation from their eyes.
2) To be non-judgmental – judgment of the other person discounts their experience.
3) […]

Rescued From Myself ~ Roger Taylor

This title came in a flash while I was watching TV. The neon lights came on and captured my attention. I love it when the Holy Spirit does things like that! As I pondered the phrase, I began to realize that when Jesus invaded my space and saved me He was rescuing me from myself. Who was driving my bus? Self was driving my bus and it was out of control heading for a cliff and more hell than I had already lived!

Although I had an immediate love relationship with Jesus and my bus made a sharp course correction toward Him, self was still driving the bus! Boy did I have a lot to learn! Because of Father’s love and grace for me, He slowly and continually revealed hidden things in my life that empowered self and hindered my […]

What to Do When Time Isn’t Healing Your Wounds ~ Kris Vallotton

Is it possible to walk through pain and come out the other side really okay? Yes. Is it easy? No. Is it worth it? Most definitely. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4). In other words, mourning is necessary; it’s the process that leads to wholeness. Yet many Christians are afraid of pain and believe their only responsibilities are to cheer people up. Consequently, hurting people push down their pain instead of confronting it. This leads to a life of unresolved agony. As children of God, we must learn how to walk away from pain (not hide it), so that we can become healthy and whole people who live joyful lives. So let’s take a look at some practical steps for walking away from pain. […]

America’s Second Civil War – Leaders For Both Sides Now Emerging ~ Roger Taylor

For many years now, Roger has been receiving words from Father concerning America and her next Civil War.  You can review some of these words typing in the word ‘America’ in the search box here.

The lines are clearly being marked and the land and territory staked.  Never before in our history have we seen what we are seeing today on the political, social and spiritual fronts.  They are all tied together and as Christians we need to very much aware of what Father is saying concerning how all this pertains to us, the Body of Christ.

Today another stage is being reported on.  It involves the new leaders of the sides in this war.  CharismaNews has run an opinion article written by Michael Snyder.  It’s title is revealing:  “Obama Is Commanding His Army of 30,000 anti-Trump Activists from His House 2 miles from the White […]
