Recently our oldest granddaughter, Brittney Johnson, has been receiving some powerful words from the Lord.  As her grandparents we are VERY proud of her walk with the Lord and how she has grown over the few years.  Today, February 1st, she posted a very powerful one and we wanted to share it with you here.

What is it like to live in deception? It seems obvious that we can live in peace with our deception until truth comes along. Then there can be a rude awakening when a door opens and truth comes charging in. The collision between that truth and our deception can be earth-shaking. Then the question becomes, will the shaking result in a life-changing event. What will we choose truth or rebellion?

Smoke Screens

The enemy will try to make it look like you have lost in certain battles you have been fighting. Never give into the devil and never get into agreement with the enemy. Once you say, “I guess we lost this one,” then you have lost. But, if you know God promised you something, never give into the smoke screen, never declare defeat. Often it is an illusion, and soon after you will find out it was false.

Father knows it’s harder to wait than to move, and it’s easier to run than to stand still! But the waiting part, though difficult, is just as important as the moving ahead part; perhaps even more important. Waiting for an answer that seems unnecessarily delayed, sometimes for years and perhaps for many years, delivers numerous opportunities for the Lord to provide instruction, correction and course adjustments so that one doesn’t trip and fall or get promoted too quickly. If the foundation for promotion is faulty, misery and despair become the inheritance. Delay is not denial. The delay brings with it maturity and the experience needed for successful promotion from Father, not from man. The longer the delay, the bigger the promises! My husband and I were recently on a cruise when three rainbows appeared and the cruise ship traveled through them. My husband and I were sitting at a table next to the window and saw it vividly. The end of the rainbow was directly to the left of us and went up and over the ship. What a sign!

The Lord spoke to me concerning 2015 through this sign. He said:

“This coming year is a year to remember My promises, no matter what you see happening around you – My promises are sure and they will prevail for those who believe.

“Tumult, shakings, and turmoil will fill the earth, and the Word and ways of God will be challenged on many fronts. But those who stand on My Word and live by My promises will be blessed beyond measure.

On a recent road trip two words came to me: legendary and epic. Those two words came just before arriving at our destination where I saw a sign that read, “Legends of the West.”   So, the season we have just entered will be epic, legendary, and marked as supernatural.

Upheaval in the Nations:

In a vision I saw utter, heart-breaking devastation in cities and towns in the Middle East. And, I asked the Lord, “When will this end?” He answered, “It will end when everything that is destined to be destroyed is destroyed.” And, I heard Him say that it would end when the indignation is past.

I don’t have to ask anymore, “Father was that You?” I know His voice. I drop everything and I run, run to Him. Faster and faster, I run to His house and I know I don’t have to knock. I grab the larger-than-life handle on the front door and as if with supernatural strength, I pull open the gigantic door and pass to the inside of His house. I run past the Throne Room where the 24 elders, the angels and the thousands upon ten thousands worship. Kicking off my shoes as I continue down the long portico, I am racing out of breath and feeling the sense of boundless anticipation that in just a few more seconds, I will be on His lap…there where He has bid me “come.”

Loving the God of the Word and having an  intimate relationship with him must be our first priority.  Even His Word can become an idol.  If you seek Him first, get to know Father intimately and personally, His word will become alive in you by the power of His Holy Spirit.  Reading it will then become the fruit of your relationship WITH Him.  Otherwise you might find yourself in the graphic and narrative below.
