Before you decide to quit, ask the Lord what you should do. He may just say that the time is here and that your victory is imminent. Don’t give up because it is hard. Don’t abandon your hope because you have been disappointed. This is where it is important to stay close to the Lord and to continue to go to him for help, wisdom, and discernment.

Failure is a part of life, not a character flaw. Even when our choices lead us to failure, there is still so much mercy to greet us. The Lord is the restorer of all things, and he faithfully redeems that which has been torn apart and rendered useless by the world. When he says to not give up, let’s hold on to our hope. When he speaks to our hearts to take courage in his promises, let’s grab hold of them again and declare them over our circumstances. Don’t quit because you’re weary. Look to the Lord and listen for his instruction.

God of truth, lead me in your wisdom and speak clearly to my weary heart. Help me to have endurance and tenacity in the troubles of life. You are worthy of my trust.
