Awaken to the Glory of God ~ Ron McGatlin

Can you imagine sleeping through a manifestation of the Glory of God?

I was somewhat mentally tired this evening when there was finally time, after a season of tiring circumstances, to sit in my recliner and open my laptop to possibly write.

I asked God what do you want me to say to your people today.

I heard, “Wake up!” “Tell my people to awaken to the light of heavenly glory.”

I then saw the current events of the attacks on Israel by Iran in a new light. God stopped hundreds of explosive drones and missiles from damaging Israel. This was a manifestation of the protective hand of God equal to many recorded biblical miracle battles.

Can you see the glory of God in all of this? But this is only a tiny particle of […]

I Hear His Whisper ~ Brian Simmons & Gretchen Rodriguez

I am an endless fountain of love, mercy, and provision. You will never find the end of my love for you. Regardless of how long you have walked with me, there are always new pathways to discover. Ask me, and I will lead you into greater encounters of glory, revelation, and holy bliss.

Tangible realities of my nearness are available to those who dare to believe, who are willing to take the time to search for my face, and who aren’t content with occasional encounters, but desire something more. Think of the most radical stories you’ve heard of when heaven invaded earthly lives, then take to heart the fact that I want even more for you. There is no limit to my love, no limit to how deep you […]

Giving Our Best – Kim Potter

I was sitting in my chair, reading Mark 12.

As I read a familiar passage, the Lord spoke to my heart and said, “Sometimes, the sacrifice speaks louder than the size of the gift.”

Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many rich people put in large amounts. Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.” Mark 12:41-45

We are all familiar with this passage of scripture. I […]

Imagine A World Ruled with Spirit Love ~ Ron McGatlin

Ron McGatlin

True Faith does not deny the bad things that exist. It changes them! Faith works by love.

The lack of real love in the world has been in the past and still is the cause of the world’s degrading conditions.

There is only one source of true unconditional pure holy love. Spirit God is the one source of true love. God is love.

By any natural measurement, the conditions of life in this world are rapidly declining. The quality of natural life for masses of people is staggering as governments fail, economies crumble and displaced people wander from nation to nation searching for the necessities of life.

Strife and war are increasing in all walks of life. Trust and honesty are casualties of the […]

Waiting on God ~ The Late Charles Stanley

God is working on your behalf, even though His plans for you take time. My prayer for you is that you’ll learn to anticipate His answer—no matter how long it takes—and to do so faithfully, patiently, and joyfully. You’ve invested so much time, energy, prayer, and confidence into waiting for Him, it would be a shame for you to abandon your hope now … especially when you’re on the brink of blessing and when His answer for you is closer than ever before. So don’t ever give up!

Be assured God’s actively, powerfully, wisely, and lovingly arranging the circumstances of your life. Even though His activity may not be obvious to you, He’s drawing you closer, refining your character, teaching you His ways, and fulfilling His promises to you.

First Corinthians 2:9-10 […]

Birthing Your Promise – Kim Potter

“Recently, I read a quote that impacted my heart and soul, I want to share it with you today. Here is the quote.

When someone is pregnant, she is not “expecting a child” – she already has one. She is not “going to be a mother” – she already is a mother. The baby is not “on the way,” the baby has already arrived. (Frank Pavone)

This quote spoke deeply to me concerning a principle we often hear taught and preached in the church today. I don’t know how many sermons I have heard on giving birth over the past thirty years, but there have been many.

Today, as I pondered this quote, it became a timely revelation to me that the simple fact that we are in travail over a thing, or […]

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.”

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”

So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

Some time later the […]

Honor Where Honor is Due ~ Kim Potter

Good morning!  It’s been awhile since we posted here but we’d like to remind you that October is Pastor/Minister Appreciation Month!  Today we post a great article from Kim Potter and it’s all about honor, one of the Core Values of Places In The Father’s Heart!  We hope you’ll take time to read this valuable article and then respond as the Holy Spirit prompts you.

Roger and Gerri

This week, I have been revisiting a voice that spoke into my life for many years. Dr. Norvel Hayes. Although Brother Norvel is with the Lord now, the things he taught me continue to live on in me. Almost weekly I think of something he said or lessons he taught me. I am thankful for those times, and I want to […]

Do you ever wonder if righteous living pays any dividends?
Here at PITFH we have four important core values:  Integrity, Character, Honor and Loyalty.  In order to lead from those values, we have to live by them.
Let’s  take a look at them individually:
Integrity:  A firm adherence to a code of moral values.  This means living by God’s instruction in thought, word and deed without any division but in a state of completeness.
Character: A feature that makes up and distinguishes an individual.  In other words, who you are on the inside when no one is looking and always remaining firm in who you are.
Honor:  Placing others before yourself and in return others honor, respect and esteem you without your asking or expecting them to.  Maintaining a good name while others openly esteem […]
