We have moved into a new season. During the time leading up to September 18th we found ourselves very tired physically from the spiritual battle we had been waging. The enemy was doing his best to discourage and dishearten us…to get our focus off of Father and onto our circumstances. Does that ever happen to you? Thank God for our Prayer Allies!
The activity of our Prayer Allies began to increase just prior to the 18th and continued throughout the following weekend! It was exciting to watch the Lord work through our watchmen on the walls. We are very grateful for this team of Allies who pray so faithfully and are so willing to remain behind the scenes and just do what they do best…pray!
On Thursday morning, September 17th, the Ally from Oregon phoned with a question that the Lord had placed on her heart. Father, where are the Taylor’s on your timeline with respect to their leaving South Carolina and returning to Colorado? That evening we received a call from the Allies in Tennessee. The word this brother had for us was: Remember there is a difference between blessing and breakthrough. You have been in a season of blessing, but now is the time for breakthrough!
On Friday evening, the Ally from Colorado called to confirm this word, not knowing that it had been spoken the night before from Tennessee!
On Sunday, the Ally from Washington state phoned to say that she’d seen Roger caught up in a spider web and hanging from the ceiling. All the physical problems he’s been experiencing and the fall he’d had were keeping him from fully walking in his calling. On Monday, this ally called with more revelation and then prayed for Roger speaking, Roger, come forth! We sensed we were about to taste victory!
On Monday, we received an email word from Bill and Marsha Burns in Colorado. It is confirmation to the victory. It reads:
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 21, 2009:
“Mount up! Renew your strength as the eagles. What has come to a close or is finishing is not the end but another beginning. Don’t think that life or ministry is over. This is only the end of a phase. You will arise with renewed strength and in greater maturity in the Spirit and accomplish what I have set you to do. I am not finished with you. You have come through a season of change with perseverance and endurance. This has been a time of preparation and a necessary precursor for what is ahead. You have had to make a clean break with the past in order to be available to do what I have set before you now. Come forth in the power of My grace, knowing that you are indeed in the flow of My Spirit and that I am carrying you, says the Lord.
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

We hope that by sharing our hearts you will be encouraged to continue on in your pursuit and remember never, ever, ever give up. You are on the edge of breakthrough!
Coming forth in the power of His grace,
Roger and Gerri
